StoryShots is an excellent productivity tool that summarises books. There is the option to read the summaries through an ebook, listen via the audiobook and even watch video summaries. Overall with StoryShots you will capture the main points of the book and then if you like the summaries you can delve deeper and buy the book or audiobook.
This tool is very similar to Blinkist but you only pay once for StoryShots compared to paying monthly.
There is a free version and also a premium version so you can test it out before committing to the premium.
At the moment you can only listen to the books via the mobile apps on Android and Apple iOS.
