No matter how large or small your business is, you are likely to need a DNS hosting plan sooner or later. DNS hosting is the process of managing your domain name’s DNS records. These DNS records tell the world where to find your website. The problem is that DNS hosting plans are expensive and complicated to manage. Cloudns offers a solution to this problem with their Cloudns DNS hosting service. Cloudns allows you to manage your DNS records from a simple web interface. Cloudns also offers a free DNS hosting plan for non-profit organizations.

The DNS records need to be kept up to date and when the number of records grows, managing them becomes more and more difficult. ClouDNS is a service that allows you to manage your DNS records from any device. The ClouDNS service has a free plan and allows you to create 50 DNS records which is generally sufficient for most people and if you need to manage multiple websites (DNS zones) or more than 50 records then you can upgrade to the premium plans. I’ve currently subscribed to the Premium S plant which also includes 1 DNS Failover & Monitoring check. This feature automatically switches the primary DNS record to a backup record if the main one no longer responds.

I find the interface easy to use and creating all the DNS records is quick.
