HOW TO CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE UNITS ON THE OMRON THERMOMETER MC-510

I’ve had the Omron Thermometer MC-510 for many years now and recently for some reason the temperature unit changed from Celsius to Fahrenheit. After some fiddling around I managed to change it back to Celsius and decided to write down the instructions and take a video in case I forget how to do this in the future. Here’s the steps to change the units from Fahrenheit to Celsius:

• Make sure the Omron Thermometer MC-510 is turned off

• Press and hold the blue button at the top of the Omron Thermometer that is labelled ON-MEASURE for 5 Seconds until the F sign starts flashing

• Let go of the button and then press it again. This should change the F to the C (Celsius)

• Wait until the Omron Thermometer turns off and it should save the setting

• Turn it on by pressing the Omron Thermometer once and you should now see the temperature unit at the bottom right-hand corner. It will say C for Celsius.

That’s it, with these instructions you should now be able to switch between the two different temperature units.

Hello, everybody in this video I’m going to show you how to change the temperature units on the Omron mc-510. So at the moment, it’s in Celsius, but previously it was in Fahrenheit, so the easiest way to change this is to hold on to this on the measure button. For five seconds so hold it like this. Until you see the c flashings at the moment, the c is Flashing press it once it will change to Fahrenheit and then keep that just let it go turn it on again and then it’s currently in Fahrenheit. So you see that at the bottom right-hand corner it’s flashing as Fahrenheit, so it’s flashing as Fahrenheit so to change that from Fahrenheit to celsius back. You Basically do the same thing, so wait until it’s actually off so at the moment, still flashing with for wait until it’s off and then I’ll show you how to change it again. You have to wait for a few seconds still flashing as F. Let’s give it a few more minutes, okay, so now it’s completely off so once again hold on to this on measure button, the Top one for around five seconds. You will see the F flash so now it’s flashing press, the on measure button again and now it’s changed to C which is Celsius and just let it turn off by itself which it has so now. It’s off turn that on and now it’s in Celsius and you can go measure the temperature now in the ear. So if this video helped in any way, give it a like and subscribe to the channel.
