The Garmin VIVOFIT JR battery generally lasts for 1 year and you generally don’t get any warning on the watch when the battery dies. Changing the battery is easy and straight forward and you don’t need to replace the entire watch. I read that some people actually do this because they believe the battery can’t be replaced. If you’re reading this I can confidently tell you that changing the battery is possible. All you need to do is to buy a coin battery CR1632 and use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove 4 screws located at the back corners of the Garmin VIVOFIT JR.

Yes, it’s that simple. Once I changed the battery I did have to pair the Garmin with the mobile phone again.
