I had to return one of the vegetarian burgers today at a large retailer and was asked why I was returning it. I mentioned to the lady the patty didn’t taste right and I didn’t use it. It was kept in the fridge and was only taken out during the short transportation to and from the store. When she said that I couldn’t return it, I asked her if there is anyone I could complain to about this and she immediately said OK you can return it. I guess sometimes things are worth complaining about.
Below is a summary of today’s main activities, tasks and accomplishments:
- Fixed up the features images on all the blog posts. I used GetStencil to recreate all the headers. There is a template features so once you create your first one, you can easily replicate and change the relevant elements like the text and background image
- We looked at a few issues with Squeak as we want to push this out again. There’s a problem with getting the sales from the mobile app

The contribution – whilst returning the vegetarian burgers I noticed there were several people at the checkout buying several Willow 25L Coolers. I decided to investigate why so many people were buying this and it was because it was on sale – they were half price. I then thought about posting this on a website and share it with other and contribute to the cause, however, when I submitted the sale it was rejected because it was a duplicate sale. At the end of the day, my intention was to contribute and so I did. Sometimes in life, you encounter situations where you are being rejected, don’t think negative but think it was missed an opportunity and there’s another one just around the corner.
