AWS PARTNER ACCREDITATIONS

The AWS partner accreditations are for those companies who are looking at reselling AWS cloud products to their customers. We have been using AWS for hosting our SaaS products and we are also using AWS to host our client’s dedicated instances of our SaaS tools. In particular, our digital signage and digital wayfinding solutions are the two main digital solutions products where we can provide a custom instance on a dedicated infrastructure server. You can think of it as a dedicated Virtual private server that does not share data with other clients.

There are three AWS partner accreditations a business can achieve and these are:

• Sales
• Technical
• Cloud economics

There are a set of modules you need to complete for each accreditation and at the end, there is an exam you need to pass and you need at least 80% to acquire the certification. There are also smaller quizzes at the end of each module and some of the questions are also in the exam. Overall, the exam is not that difficult and you can retake the exam until you pass.

The reason why we decided to obtain these AWS accreditations is to build credibility when promoting our dedicated cloud services and also when migrating our client’s digital signage solutions to the cloud.
