I had a chance to try the Runtastic app (iTunes or Android). I installed this app because there was a code that upgraded the Free version to Pro so I thought I’d try it. The app wasn’t so bad. It was simple to use and like many other apps it has a Voice Coach so that you get some of the stats whilst running. I had the option to play music within the app (from Google Music or just the music player). I ran with my Jabra Bluetooth headset and at times whilst trying to unlock the phone, there was some jitter in the audio. It seemed like it was struggling to play the songs whilst trying to unlock, but it’s possible that the Samsung S5 CPU is not powerful enough – even after closing all the apps. Anyways, one good thing that I like about the app is that it tracks the elevation during your run and the pace that you were going at that specific time. Overall, it’s a good app and will probably use it again. There is an option to set your Yearly running goal – I’ve set mine to 525km which equates to 10km per week or 43km per month. The app will prompt you to go for your run to achieve that goal. If you’re looking for a Running app then try Runtastic since there’s a free version and see whether it suits your needs. Once I get a smartwatch, I’ll test it with this app as well.

- Created the post ‘The Customer Experience‘. I got distracted a few times since I needed to clean up the house and the garage but managed to finish it.
- Noticed that one of my YouTube accounts was not linked to Adsense so my videos were not being monetised. Some of the videos had a few thousands of views so I was a bit bummed that I missed out on generating some revenue. My top performing video is me showing how to fix an issue an issue with the Holden Astra Remote control. It has about 4k views at the moment.
- Helped my son with his own blog. I taught him how to use WordPress. My main intention for him having his own website was to help him with his writing and track his own life journey.
Today, I did a quick fitness workout which consistent of the below exercises:
- 5.5KM run using the Runtastic app

- 20 burpees
My stats from the run:

1x (leftover lunch) Bowl of Stir Fried Vegetarian Noodles with some satay sauce and Sanitarium Vegetarian Hot Dog

Never waste food – you’ve probably noticed that my dinner and my lunch was the same meal. I’ve always reminded my kids to never waste food and to be grateful for the food that they have been given especially when there are my people in third world countries starving and struggling to find food. I also get my kids to make sure their plate is empty before putting it in the basin.
