If you’ve recently signed up for the Microsoft Developer Program, you may not be able to send out emails and in this article, I will explain how to fix it. When sending out emails or booking rooms, you will receive the following error message:

After some troubleshooting, there’s nothing you can do to get this working as Microsoft has blocked the IP address. This is evident by the message “Spam abuse detected from IP range” and the only way to fix it is to contact the Microsoft Support team. The best way to do this is to go into your Office 365 admin portal and then click the Help and Support:
The articles will not help at all so you need to contact a Microsoft support team member and I would recommend you use Phone as the preferred contact method. This will allow you to get the issue resolved faster and you will be able to test if it’s fixed whilst being on the phone. I was told that all the Microsoft support staff needs to do is to remove the IP address from the spam list.
The main reason why they have this spam list in place is to prevent spammers from creating new accounts and then sending out spam emails. I was contacted within the hour so make sure you’re near your phone.
