MISSING DIGITAL CERTIFICATE AND COURSE PROGRESS FROM GOOGLE DIGITAL GARAGE

I recently logged into Google Digital Garage to check if they had any new courses and discovered the previous digital certificate I obtained from a digital marketing course was no longer there. I wrote about it in this article: THE FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL MARKETING COURSE AND CERTIFICATION

Google Digital Garage is an online platform provided by a renowned internet search company. It offers a lot of educational resources and courses on diverse aspects of online marketing and business. The objective is to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to flourish in the digital era.

Google Digital Garage provides valuable insights and practical skills in areas like search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, social media marketing, web analytics, and more. The platform accommodates various skill levels, offering courses suitable for beginners to advanced learners.

What I was surprised the most was I needed to set up my profile again which was unusual. I was confident I had a profile and wasn’t sure why I need to create another one. In any case, I did and then when I went to check my digital certificate, it was no longer there. In actual fact, the digital marketing course wasn’t even marked as completed. I wasn’t planning to redo the course again just to obtain this certificate, so I decided to do some research and discovered something usual. Basically, digital garage has a website for different countries and it appears the login and profiles are not synched. The default country location in my case was set to the United Kingdom – not sure how Google detected this but I’m based in Australia. After changing the location to Australia, I logged in again and found my digital certificate.
