I’m starting to do more videos reviews of products and needed to find a way to do better top down videos. This was my previous setup:
I had a tripod connected to an extension arm and the YI 4K+ camera attached to the end. This is the camera that I have:
It worked out OK, but it did take up a bit of room. Using this setup meant I wasn’t able to sit down in front of the camera but I instead I had to stand up and do the video reviews that way.
I came across the the SmallRig clamp with a 1/4″ screw ball when I noticed it on sale. Here’s how the SmallRig looks like:
So with this SmallRig clamp, you can clamp it to the edge of a desk, pole or in my case I plan to clamp it to the microphone stand. You can check out this video my review.
