Hardly had any sleep and realised how much impact this can be on the body. As part of the Chinese New Year tradition, I had to make sure the lamp and the incense don’t go off so you pretty much have to stay up all night for this. The only time you can have a little nap is when longer incenses are used which can last for about 6 hours. I just slept on the floor.

I tried sleeping during the day after I came back home from the workout but I could only manage about 1 hour of sleep. Hopefully I can have a good night sleep after I finish writing this post.

ACTIVITIES

Below is a summary of today’s main activities, tasks and accomplishments:

  • Manged to do the fitness workout
  • Looked after the lamps and incense

FITNESS WORKOUT

Today, I did a fitness workout which consistent of the below exercises:

  • Warm up run
  • 2 sessions of the following exercises: Battle ropes, farmer walks, thrusters, skipping, kettlebell 16kg, hammer on tyre, squats with bag (timer was farmer walks 2x)
  • a mix of run, pushups, frog jumps walks, burpees, mountain climbers, squat jumps
  • 2x Tabata sessions
  • 1 minutes running challenge ( hit 13)

DAILY REFLECTION 

Do what you can – stress comes within, sometimes we are in a situation where we become overwhelmed with all the tasks we have to do. Focus on what you can do right now and meticulously plan for the future.
