Today I tried the 100 seconds dead hang challenge and I was successful. I managed to hit around 110 seconds before my arms gave way. I’ve seen YouTube videos of this challenge and for those who are successful, they win $100. I didn’t win any money but I did win some satisfaction of knowing that I was able to complete this challenge. I didn’t find this challenge hard at all except for the last 10 seconds. It was probably due to the strength I built in my arms from doing pullup and chin-ups. Here’s a video of me doing the 100 seconds dead hang.
NOTE: There are videos of people doing the dead hang on a bar that is not fixed (i.e. it moves/rolls) which is much harder to hang on.
