Today, I achieved my PB (personal best) for swimming. I managed to swim 1 km without stopping at each end of the pool (I usually take a break at each end). The length of the pool is 50 metres (Olympic length) and the swimming pool we went to was Blacktown Aquatic Centre. I didn’t run my usual 10 km this morning so maybe this helped with reaching my swimming PB.
I felt quite good swimming today, I didn’t feel as tired and my swimming strokes were much better than usual. Since we got there a bit late I only did 1.1 km in total which included the 1 km swim without stopping and an additional 100m without stopping.
I noticed my swimming goggles fogging up quite easily, even during my first lap. I found swimming with foggy googles to be a bit more difficult especially for long distances such as 1 km. I believe there are solutions or products that help prevent the swimming goggles from fogging up. I’m planning to test to see if it works and I’ve put a few products below so that I can remind myself of the products I may need to buy.
